SPD Picnics with the Public

“Picnic at the Precinct” schedule announced

This Saturday June 18th, all East precinct residents are invited to the Picnic at the Precinct between Pike and Pine. There will be free food, dancing, entertainment, and activities for children. This is a great chance to meet your local officers and to take a precinct tour.

The Picnic at the Precinct events first began in 2004 and are sponsored by the Seattle Police Foundation and local businesses. Picnic at the Precinct events provide an opportunity for the business and residential communities in the precinct geographical boundaries to come together and enjoy a day to meet and interact with their local patrol officers in a fun environment.

The East Precinct is the first of the Picnic at the Precinct events this summer . The rest of the dates are:

North Precinct Picnic – July 9th

Harbor Patrol Picnic - July 16th

Southwest Precinct Picnic – August 20th

West Precinct Picnic – August 25th

South Precinct Picnic – September 10th

The event is from 1 – 4 pm.
