Calling all anarchists, anti-authoritarians and anti-capitalists.
Our reasons for opposing the Conservative Party of Canada are many! As anarchists we oppose capitalists systems that keep millions living in poverty. We fight against political parties that continue to uphold patriarchy and sexism. We struggle against the continued occupation of indigenous lands. We stand united against all forms of racism. We are committed to building a better world, committed to supporting our allies in their struggles for freedom and dignity. Palestinians, First Nations, Tamils, sex workers, people of colour, queer folks, disabled people, non-status migrants, workers, prisoners, we are on your side.
The Conservative Party of Canada's right-wing agenda is clear. We will continue to see cuts to services, attacks on our communities and a continuation of wars.
June 10 is a first step. a coming out party for a movement that will bring four years of fierce resistance to the streets of every city in Canada.
In solidarity and respect for all the groups involved in the organization of this day of action, we are calling for an anarchist and anti-authoritarian contingent. Bring flags and noisemakers.
