Finding Our Roots is an anarchist conference held annually in Chicago, IL. It was started in 2007, to meet the need for anarchist networking in the midwest/midsouth/no coast. Originally concepted as just a conference; this years’ FOR will be part conference, and part anarchist book fair.

With the first three conference themes being “Theory”, “Organizing”, and “Space”; the fourth annual FOR theme, “Solidarity” is an attempt to merge all of these concepts by uniting the different tendencies of anarchist thought under one roof, and exploring their relationships.
