This documentary chronicles the life of the anarchist-feminist
organization Mujeres Libres (Free Women) during the Spanish Civil War. It includes interviews with numerous former members discussing revolutionary Spain and the involvement of women in the war, their relationship to the other anarchist organizations at the time, and their life since. Decades later, the Mujeres Lebres organization still remains a model for revolutionary feminist theory and action. In Spanish, with English subtitles, 1986, 60 mins.
