Royal Air Force Waddington is located south of Lincoln between the A607 and A15 trunk roads. From the south, east and west, the A1, A607, A15, A17 and A46 roads all offer excellent access routes to RAF Waddington. RAF Waddington has a public viewing area known as the WAVE (Waddington Aircraft Viewing Area). The WAVE is located off the A15 opposite the airfield and is a car park which is open to the general public for safe aircraft viewing. The Wave is home to The Sentry Post Snack Bar, run by a very nice chap called John Robinson
