REBOOT IT!
WORD SOUND HAVE POWER IV - RebootTheRoots vs Sonic Arts! For the next WSHP, we have especially lined up 15 international sonic artists from around the globe who will be designing and performing new material in response to the space from 8pm on the 27th ... Expect Hackney soundscapes, sonic pong and much more in our marvellous converted toyshop space, with theatre, bar and conscious cafe. In addition (as if that wasn't enough!) we will have - poetic stylings and improvisations from FURIOUS GEORGE MC (UK/Malaysia), the mighty spanish rap of LUIZ (Barcelona) and DJ Crystof (Latvia), acoustic folk-punk americana from THE HOPS (UK) Late night we fire up the soundsystem and blaze conscious reggae, dubstep, drum n bass till we can't dance no more ... Entry is by donation! All funds go to RebootTheRoots ... a solidarity organisation in support of arts for social inclusion in Malaysia.
