BASTARD SQUAD Collective Bristol uk

Right then folks, here it is – the current roster of confirmed upcoming Bastard Squad gigs in Bristol for this year (more to be announced when details are clearer so check back soon):

Next up, Friday March 4th we are delighted to finally host Poland’s smoking hardcore prodigy The Fight bringing rage, melody and passion in equal proportion: they will be accompanied by London punk rock ‘n rollers Trashcat and will be joined by one more band t.b.a. Benefit for Bristol Anarcha-Feminist Group. If you can’t make it, be sure to catch The Fight on one of their other U.K dates arranged by Wretched Form tour booking: check them here.

Then Thursday March 10th Käpykaarti (Finland’s snotty old-school punk) with dynamic noise-rock act Belladonna and possibly another, at The Plough in Easton. Benefit for the Thessaloniki 4 defendants.

Oi Polloi, Scottish pioneers of “anarchOI!”, are treating us to a rare Southern excursion on Saturday 30th April – coinciding with the Bristol date for Divine Spark (up-and-coming Luxembourg melancholic hardcore) and more t.b.a. Benefit for 325 magazine.

In the week leading up to the Bristol Anarchist Bookfair (for which it is also a benefit), German ska-core heretics Thee Infidels and their Southern musical compatriots Luvdump will play at The Plough, Wednesday May 4th.

And the last we’re letting out of the hat for now is a birthday party for a certain stalwart of the Bristol scene, Martin Einon: Saturday May 14th featuring demented thrash-ridden metal-crust from Human Compost and breakdowns, melodies and d-beats courtesy of Geraniüm (both from France, both insanely good: U.K dates handled by Wretched Form tour booking so look out for their other dates here) and more t.b.a. Benefit for Bristol Space Invaders.

Loads more in the pipework, but that should keep you going for now…
