Simon Whetham’s project ACTIVE CROSSOVER has been active since early August and closes its doors at Soundfjord gallery on the 1st October. Throughout its course there have been many spontaneous encounters, utilizing a gallery installation format to explore improvisational collaboration through the use of field recordings as sonically cohesive and socially active material.
Collaborators have included the likes of Dylan Nyoukis, Lee Gamble and Rhodri Davies.
113 Dalston Lane are excited to host the closing event of the project, consisting of live performances in full surround speaker mode.
Performers: Kaffe Matthews, Douglas Benford, Jo Thomas, Martin Clark, John Grzinich and Simon Whetham.
