For years, internet activism was considered the domain of a vanguard of hackers, waiting for anonymous, lulzsec or other groups to erect the digital barricades. Even if in our political lives we reject vanguardism, we are still waiting on these special few to do battle for us. We need a hacking movement that allows the 99% to get involved and shape the goals tactics and strategy of our digital protest. The hackers need to join the users, not lead them."
