Occupied Land and Direct Action in solidarity with community struggle against open cast coal.
The happendon Wood Action Camp sits in beautiful South Lanarkshire,threatened with yet another open cast coal mine.
this part of Scotland has been blighted by Scottish Coal and ignored by a corrupt local
council.
We have occupied this land, and are taking action against the coal infrastructure in the area, to stand in solidarity with the local people who don't want their community ripped apart for profit, and with people across the globe facing the consequences of climate change.
We won't leave, and we wn't give up.
